Edaily and KG Zeroin are co-hosting the 2nd Global Alternative Investment Conference (GAIC). We are in the hope of acquiring the knowledge and wisdom to become a compass in the dark era of investment where the uncertainty has increased aftermath of the coronavirus crisis. We look forward to creating high-caliber investment values by sharing promising investment areas and innovative investment techniques proposed by both South Korean and foreign experts.
Edaily has held four webinars (real-time video discussions) as part of the GAIC special session given the changing environment since the coronavirus outbreak. The total of 20 domestic and foreign experts participated, highlighting the status of alternative investment by different fields. This actual main event is a venue to orchestrate the knowledge and wisdom accumulated so far and to re-examine the future trend of the investment.
I believe this forum is an opportunity for overseas investors in needs of or in expansion to their entries into the South Korean market as the first time. Although active exchanges in the field are not possible in this situation, we have prepared effective and fruitful programs such as one-on-one video meetings with major domestic investors and providing guidelines to advance into the Korean market. We look forward to this event as an investor’s platform and a place for practical exchanges liaising both investors and fund managers.
Despite being the first event, the 1st event drew a substantially high interest internationally, with 15 companies participating merely from overseas. Exceptionally, Chinese fund managers and consulting firms participated, and we heard that the event made a great contribution to diversification of investments. This year's 2nd event lies in a harsh situation where face-to-face contacts are limited, but we will meet you through a more fruitful program than last year. We would like to ask for your interest and support.
